Sanitation control becomes mandatory in the Pays de Gex for the sale of condominium properties.
Since February 2, 2023, the Régie des Eaux Gessiennes has made sanitation control mandatory for any sale of condominium properties.
This control of wastewater collection systems has so far been reserved for individual properties. From now on, sellers of condominiums (mostly apartments) will have to comply with this obligation.
The cost of this inspection, which currently amounts to €139.08, will be invoiced to the selling owner.
